mc, that looks like a nice sized spa there. My system is very basic with some blue Barrels that sit above the spa/fishtank and drain directly back into it. It's a trial system and my stocking density is quite low to try and avoid newbie mistakes. You can read about it in my thread.

If you have the space, i would dig it into the ground, insulate around it, then you can siphon directly into it by having your GBs above and around it. You will only need 1 pump that way and will minimize piping required 4 your plumbing. Keep it simple first time i reckon and do it cheap til ya got a handle on things. Good luck.

i was thinking of that. i thinking of resin and fiberglass. its not very deep though, i dunno know if its worth it.
