I think it might have come from sparrow's GRASS, but I like sparrows guts better.

I put like 7 and they grow like 3 inches in 3 days but I think I planted too manyshould I leave 1 or 2?

Dedicate a dirt bed to the asparagus and if you like , water it in the winter with fish tank water. I did this last year and over spring and early summer had massive amounts of spears. This bed has crowns that are about 4 years since I dug them from the river bank and planted them. They take a few years to get established but once they do will give you great feeds for a few months a year. I have a pumpkin plant growing over the bed now that the asparagus are in fern, so the bed isnt wasted during summer.
I also sprinkle spring onion seeds over the bed once the pumpkin is gone, so i get something out of the bed in winter

whats a dirt bed? like a gravel bed with dirt? or just soil

I will be digging up two raised dirt beds and selling them to put in a second AP system. I have some aspargus so will transplant them into a bed. Will see how they go.

I have one which is in ap and it grows quite well.It was in a pot and I wasn't sure where to put it so I just sat it on top of the grow bed. When I wanted to shift it it had sent its roots out the bottom of the pot and I couldn't shift it. the roots had gone out the holes in the pot and it was stuck there.I do get a lot off it.
