How would you like to save half of fuel for cooking or more?

Most stoves are constructed so that the pot is positioned 2 to 3 cm from the burner, such that a longer flame is needed to effect quick heat transfer. Make the flame shorter and replace the pot rest so that the pot is as close to the burner. Mine is 3 to 5 mm from burner top to bottom of pot and reduce the flame to less than half of the original. Save as around 60 % fuel.

I shorten the flame by inserting 3 or 4 copper wires strand, for a 2 burner stove, from the duplex stranded wire. Be sure that the flame is always in contact with the bottom of the pot. will amaze you how hot it can get with so small flame. You can also play with the pressure regulator to adjust flame length IF you have enough knowledge.
