one of the guys asked if there was any barra in ther custard for dessert.

Would love to see the Iron Chefs doing "The Great Barramundi Battle"
They would put it in everything - entree, main, and desert. Mmmm, baramundi ice cream. :icescream:

{voiceover man - Garry McDonald}
Why don't you try the new taste sensation plucked from King Neptune's depths and brimming with bovine goodness.
When you wake up in the morning feeling RS come on down to the canteen and try the marine flavoured dairy product,
Captain Curd's Fish Milkshakes. (ah gees that sounds alright)
Remember! Curd's rhymes with birds?

{singing - Grahame Bond and Rory O'Donoghue}
Walking with my baby got a thirst on my mind.
I love my little dish and I just wish that I could give my dish a
fish milkshake, get a fish milkshake
fish milkshake, get a fish milkshake

{voiceover man - Garry McDonald}
In 27 different flavours,
smoked eel, curried prawn (hmm Chinese eh?), whale blubber,
malted mullet, pickled porpoise (sounds pretty exotic),
pork fat. (Pork Fat? Hey that's not a fish milkshake? That sounds revolting)

3500 litres all up. Estimate over 50 fish left. Too hard to count them, hence why i am keeping this tally. Have lost around 20 to the cold weather, plus others to cannibalism (only a guess as I started with 250 , gave 13 away, but never counted them when they first went in so don't actually know exactly how many I started with)

This is great Mon (jealous as hell :tongue2: )

Very interested in the FCR :wink: - found some figures on barra FCR and feed rate;
the professionals feed 7% of the fish weight daily for an FCR of 1.2 - we (AP people) would need a larger filtering system (or lots of water changes) to keep the nitrate levels in check.

SP is 3% of body weight and temps would be kept at an optimum also for FCR of 1.5ish

Nice to be able to do that :roll:
