Well it's been 15 days of cycling and the amonia is still 8ppm and very little to no action on nitrite

Possibly too much ammonia? Or am I being impatient with this large amount of eater?

Yowsa those tests are still pretty dark. Which one is which? Plants look amazing though.

Yeah too much ammonia at the start
Should be okay eventually
8+ ammonia
5+ nitrite
20-40ppm nitrate

I wonder if a partial water change would help? The old adage "the solution to pollution is dilution."

+1 on diluting this.

How to setup the RFF and KY1 bio filter ....
Dual fish tanks but should I put the filters in between them ?

Fish tanks - RFF at the front - BIO at the back - pipes around the back or it all along the walls of the greenhouse then into - the GB

Or dual bio filters (allows more access)
