Kids helped today which was nice
Just have to get a few elbows and taps and T's and we are plumped up on GB entry and return
What reducer do you use for standpipes 25-20mm at the top to help bell siphon?Image

for my standpipe I use 20mm with a 20-25 reducer-expander whichever way you look at it.

How does the tap water test out? Ours is well water and when it hits the air the pH jumps to 8.

What wood did you use for the frame work over the fish tank.
Put some tap water in a cup and leave it over night to see what it's pH settles at.
