Hello from Southern Indiana. I have been keeping fish for about 4 years and blue tilapia for almost 2 years now.....only growing so far(in fish water) has been some house plants out of hob filters. I broke off a few of my mostly dead tomato plants from my outside garden and paced each one in 1" well casing pvc strapped in my ibc fish tank. In about a week or so they have grown roots and greened up...I've not seen anyone else do it this way. Will this continue to work ok?
Thanks

Hi Mhawkins, welcome to the forum.

Yes, it is pretty much common practice to use tomato saplings or cuttings to grow more tomatoes. They will continue to grow and fruit as long as they have enough sun (or similar) and nutrients in the water.
