I am progressing slowly but surely in my AP venture.

However, although I got few vegetables but most of the leaves don't seems to healthy.

Need your experienced feed back to treat the same.

Are the plants (vines) in the video the plants ?


The iBC fish tank is probably the issue while it is partly full with fingerlings.
Likely that your fish-load *at this stage* is not sufficient, but that will change as the fish grow and the IBC is filled up. What type of fish are they ?

You need to post some clearer pictures of the leaves with issues
(instructions here viewforum.php?f=4 < top two threads)

As an interim you could try foliar feeding using a spray bottle.

you have to be careful adding anything to the system as there is not much water volume in the fish tank,
so not much dilution of anything you add.

Yes you have rightly noticed that the water level was low the day I made the video.

Fish:

Usually I am trying to maintain 300 liters level.

The locally bought fish is called Tilapia which did survived the summer but has not grown well since April 2017.

Plants

The plants are Bitter Gourd and Zucchini.

In fact we had a setback where the roots of the plant grew and went into siphon (siphon is installed outside the barrel with an inlet inside the barrel) and thus the plant got effected.

hard to say. I find that leaves decline with things like butternut pumpkin, cucumber and zucchini for various reasons.
I don't have much success with them in AP - but they go well in wicking beds.
I suspect with many vine types as they get large with big roots they make things difficult for themselves.

If you have a bit more water in the fish and can get hold of a product like blood and bone (not sure what it would be called in your area) then you can add some of that as a powder to the top of the media and gently water in. That will give a bit of a boost that should help the plants. You really want to make sure it just stays in thebeds rather than too much in the system. I use it with tomatoes in dutch buckets and simply use a watering can to get it into the F&D zone.


Doubt you will get the brand there but to give you an idea of what to loom around for that might be similar

p.s. on the fish side I would have the fish tank much fuller. I am pretty sure that tilapia would be fine in 600mm or more of water,
