Thank you for the kind words.
I enrolled in Ryan's course end of November and got stuck into straight away,it's advertised as 22 weeks, because of the amount of free time I had at that time I pushed through it. When I took the course I had already been Aquaponics for 4 years so a lot of the course was confirming what I new but with that extra polish to take it to the next level,Ryan really does a fantastic job of teaching throughout the course, the way I think of the course is that if it had been available when I started I would have saved those four years by building a system that would have worked right from the start. It's an expensive thing to pay out for,but if you have any thoughts of one day going commercial it's essential, this will save heartache and expense.
I know it sounds like iam selling the course for Ryan, but that's not it,this truly is an excellent way to learn from someone who knows what he is doing and as I said if you have any thoughts of getting bigger something like this course has to be part of your overall plan.

Thank you for this dasboot. I don't think you sound like you are selling Ryan's course, just confirming its importance.

It certainly sounds excellent, thank you for the quick reply.
Didn't get that impression at all, it sounds like you really found value in it, which is great to hear.
When the end of year university holidays start and I'm back rostered on night shift I may sign up to fill in the time. It really does sound interesting, going over things I would have missed.

If only I could get some of the old research gurus floating around the Tafes/Unis interested in a young Padawan haha

It sounds like Ryan's course was excellent. I can't wait to see how you use what you've learned. Will this be an integration of what you have or a total restart? Of course you needn't answer any of this until you get home safe, sound and settled in with you family.

Last set, well the plan is to remove all structure and rebuild in steel, power washing everything will get rid of the green and then a couple of coats of white should make it look better, the new greenhouse will be bigger and taller with ventilation in the apex. Not sure how much bigger as there is a lot of work to do,the tanks will be moving from under the house to a new fish and filter house,I will incorporate a workshop and seedling area somehow.
Sod's law that today was going to be a busy one and we have had rain all morning with more on the way.

Heads Up and Good Luck!!

....maybe you want to fill one tank and get some lettuce and tomatoes going in the meanwhile...

Your Full-Size project sounds like it might take a while until water flows again....loads of structure to be built!!

Cheers,

thjakits
