Hi

I am new to Acquaponics and trying to setup a new System in India. The temperature in my region goes up to 44 degree centigrade in summer. How can we stop the water from becoming too hot for the fish as the gravel used in the growbed is in the sun even though the fish tank might be in a shade.

I don't know what fish can tolerate hot temperatures like that?

It gets up to 44C in Melbourne too. Shade the GBs and grow fish that will tolerate high temps, or don't stock any fish over the hottest part of the year.

yes i live in Melbourne and have acquaponics system here which i have been running for one year. i am originally from India and want to setup one system for my family there. Water scarcity is the biggest problem that people are leaving agriculture over there. The second one being pests. i am trying to see if i can setup small system for my family.

As gunna said, shade everything, the system will be fine. But it will use a lot of water. If water availability is an issue you might run into problems.
