I lost 2 of the fish in the bath last night  Funnily enough, not the 2 which were upside down, but I beleive a couple of the speedos. They weighed 300gm each, but because I don't know when they died I have chucked them out.
Water temps in the shed in the 17's in the poly and 19's in the vat. Becoming impossible to keep the large volume of water warm enough with 2 small heaters. The vat will soon become a purge tank and the heaters will go into the poly tank to keep the cycling going. I think I can keep it around 20 like that which will save me having to do a mass harvest and freeze the fish.

Left your harvest run a little to late mate - noticed Perth overnight temp down to 4c, so possibly worse to come for you :(

Stay tuned, I won't be putting any more fish in this system. The silvers will be transferred to the big tanks when the barra are all gone, but after that...

6 more fish harvested for a total of 1.9 kg's, including the biggest one yet, was on the scales at 495 gr then tipped over to 500! :D So now they can all die and I don't care a hoot  I really wanted to see that magic half a kilo on the scales. :D

I'm using this thread as a total reference. If I write it down on a piece of paper I will lose it for sure.

I have just transferred more fish into the vat. I have what I estimate to be around 40 - 50 in the vat for dinner Saturday night. Have broken the syphon between the tanks so now the vat is off line, will change out with rainwater daily until sat. Only having it about half full of water.

You can't include the weight of the plate in the total Stu.
