Water is getting a little better. Fish are paranoid and I only realy see them stay together under the SLO intake. 275 gallons and they stay in a 12in circle on the bottom of the tank.

Pic is of the only plants I gave in the system right now. 2 cucumbers 2 hot jalapeño and the orange hobanero fro the indoor system that has been extremely cut back. Thinking about just doing greens in the other side. Not sure yet on what tomatoes to grow.

So I have been messing with cheep $10 LED grow lights and the results are interesting. Both plants where planted at the same time in the indoor system. The one outside moved out two weeks ago and the other ones are still inside and about 3-4 inches taller.

The acrylic tank used to be for salt water and has not been used in maybe 10-15 years it feels like.

Right now there is nothing in that tank, but thinking about moving the res turtle into it.

Outside is doing great.

This is what my habanero peppers look like. Maybe 40-50 in this state right now.

I just wish the tomatoes would start to turn red. I started them so late this year it kinda sucks that they are about a month and a half behind.

So the filter I made with pvc and scrubbies blew on me last night. I will have to "fish" out the scrubbies. :-x

Pictures are of how I made this before installing.

Interesting filter Rob, what were you using it for and how long did it go before it blew?

July 15 was when I put that filter in. The screen is a press fit drain that I guess I did not jam in far enough. It holds around 12-15 scrubbies. I just shoved them all back in and turned the pump back on.

I bought security cameras because someone had been messing with my car after I changed out the wheel set. One camera on the corner of the house points at the ap system and give a good coverage. One of my biggest fears is someone poisoning the system.

I have not tried my hobeneros yet, but I have given most away to those who like spicy foods and they are reluctant to try out of being too spicy.

I need to make a chili or salsa with a few.

Ok finally some red tomatoes. Good weekend harvest. I grabbed anything slightly yellow yesterday and put them in a paper bag overnight. 25 ounces of cherry tomatoes. :D

Those look like scorchers indeed. Your system is so friggin' cool. Is the filter that popped its top inflow or outflow? I love the indoor system too.
