You guys having a meeting? Can it be announced here for others, or is it a bit of a private deal? There may be a few keen Canberra people lurking here...

I'm there! Make it public, we'll just get everyone there and have a chat. Maybe if we did it at someones house or looked at a system that is established we'd have something to talk about. Mines not going yet (soon!).

High folks,
Yep - it is at my home address in Belconnen at 3pm today - people need to PM me for details if they wish to attend and bring a plate (nibbles etc).
My home systems are not operating - Tanks etc are still in situ however- but heaps to talk about and will be doing a slide show session and Q&A on our whole project which now in addition to the aquaponic operation also includes a small free range poultry farm and rentachook service, apiairy (bee business) - biodynamic raised bed vegetable production unit and snail farming enterprise all as part of an integrated urban farming model.
5 members of the project team will be in attendance as well as three so far confirmed list members - I will limit this meeting to 12 so first in best dressed. Next meeting may be held at the farm site in six to eight weeks if interest is large.

Doh!! I missed it. I was busy all Sunday anyway so I wouldn't have been able to make it. Next time a bit more lead time would be nice so I can schedule it in.

Lead time?! What kind of crazy idea is that? ;)

It was good to meet UAM & pah, as well as the other people in UAM's business team. I'm keen to be involved, even if just at a 'work hand' level.. Obviously, because it's quite a large scale 'thing', there's going to be quite a bit of flux.. nothing wrong with flux, only when it become reflux. ( :P Oh, i'm such a wit!!)

No piccies were taken & i didn't get the late message on bringing food, sorries! Next time, eh?!
