Been at aquaponics for 3+ years. Started with a single IBC cut and flip setup. Then I realized I needed a greenhouse. The next year I decided I needed a bigger greenhouse. I've gone from not gardening at all to an 8x22 greenhouse, 3 IBC compost bins, worm farm(retired), 3 IBC wicking beds, an outside raft bed, 2- 4x16 raised beds, another 3x18 raised bed, a 3x22 raised bed, 2x22 raised bed, IBC asparagus bed, and 30 gutter buckets. I'll talk about my basement later. YouTube is dangerous. I'll start loading some pics as I can.

Yeah this is a pretty addictive hobby :headbang: . I don't usually have to ask this but see if you can enlarge the shots a bit :thumbright:

Cheers

I'd love to but it took me an hour to figure out how to get them small enough to download. Any help as to how I could make them larger would be appreciated.

I use Gimp which is free. You can choose to scale the image (whatever the going pixel count is now) and then export it as a JPG or JPEG image. It might help you more if you checked the first couple of threads here as others do it differently - http://www.backyardaquaponics.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=4.

Hope that helps.

Hi Jeff, good to see another Mitten here. Looking forward to seeing more of your system as you figure out how to upload pics.

Here is how I resize my pictures so they will upload here...

-Open picture on computer
-Screen shot picture by having picture selected then press alt+print screen
-Open paint and paste screenshot in paint (Ctrl+V)
-zoom out (can do this if you have a scroll button on your mouse by holding ctrl and scroll backwards towards you)
-screen shot again with alt+print screen
-start a new paint (Ctrl+N)
-paste the new screenshot again (ctrl+V)
-crop screenshot using selecting tool then cut (ctrl+x)
-start a new paint again (Ctrl+N)
-paste the picture again (ctrl+V)
-save the picture
-upload it in full editor
-when the upload completes click in your text box where you want the picture to show up then press the 'insert inline' button to get it to show up in the post rather than as an attachment

It seems like a lot, but after you do it a few times this is pretty quick for me and I typically do it without thinking about what I'm doing now.
