It may be better for koi. With the insulated top, you can control temps more. I just couldn't get the tilapia to breed much in it?? They seem to be doing good in the new pond. I've scooped out around 50 babies so far. Added an airline last week. I came home the other night with a bee hive and found 5 Bufo toads in my pond. I killed them all, but I sure hope they didn't lay eggs. Between those damn things and the Cuban tree frogs...both invasives, I can't keep up. Killing Cubans each night, and it doesn't seem to slow them down. Maybe I need to start thinking about building a wall.lol

Well the back up genny works. Power went out earlier this week for about an hour at 1-2AM. generator kicked on and kept everything going until the power co. got the problem resolved. That's a good thing.

We have a new member to the family. Levi was born yesterday at 1PM. Both he and his mom are doing great. We're going down Monday to visit.

Congratulations, Coach! Obviously he's already thinking about plumbing, fishes, and veggies. Soon you'll have a helper that will get off to a great head-start on advanced growing techniques like few of us ever had.

New family member must be keeping you busy . How are you doing and how's the system?

Doing well. Fish are getting big. Pigs are getting big. landscaping has been crazy. Tropical storm now. Always something.lol Will try and get some pics posted. I have some people wanting to buy fish, but haven't had time to grade any out.
