Let us know hos the rosemary does. From what I have heard around here it doesn't do very well in AP.

so i have been noticing that the amount of water running through my system is slowing down, i took apart the pump and cleaned it but it dosn't seem like its pumping as much as it used to, there was alot of growth in the inner workings of the pump but it was just like slime, and it didn't seem like it was strong enough to obstruct the water, i am using a rio 1100 pump, also the pump stops once and a while if i unplug it but after a cleaning it runs agian, has anyone had a problem like this

yeah, but with a big transfer pump instead. It's like they feel left out and crave the attention!

I have had those problems with some smaller pond pumps... switch em off for a sec, then back on and they don't work.. Often have to give them a knock or open them up to get em going again..

I have had that problem too. Usually I have to giver the impeller a bit of a clean and turn it a few times then turn it back on.

I have an old eheim submersible that is about 15 years old and I wouldn't be surprised if it worked for another 15.

usually only happens if you have a bit of crud in the impeller. motor has enough torque to over come it when running, but not on startup ;)

rb, are you renting?

you know what would be cool? weird, but cool?

screw a couple of small hooks into the plaster and suspend a wire across the room, then let the tommy crawl along it ;)

exactly.

maybe from left to right walls above the tank. but would have to be the right type of tommy, there are ones that bush and those that keep "climbing"

light will probably be an issue, but do it across the window

rblaster,
can you provide a link to your other thread where you explained your setup, I remember reading it but can't find it, unless you feel like going over it again. Are you running constant flow?, what is the water level in the pipe? I set up a gutter system for my strawberries but I think I may need to alter it.
