I joined up a few days ago and figured I would introduce myself. My name is Ed and I hail from Ada, Oklahoma. I'm new to aquaponics (though I've had numerous salt and fresh water aquariums in the past) and just completed building my first small system (which I will show off in the Member Systems section) yesterday which is cycling now and awaiting plants and fish. If all goes well, I will soon be planning a much larger greenhouse system so I can grow my own food year round.

Hey Shewme71. Good to know there is at least one person nearby doing the aquaponics thing. Nice work on your system. A little bit about mine is here:

It's nothing fancy, just a quick and cheap system I threw together for a trial run. I added some plants and four sunfish I caught at a pond the other day. So far everything is going well. I'll have to get some new pictures posted soon.
