Hi everyone! First time using Unisieals, and (2) of the 13 Uniseals I installed are leaking. Can I wrap some teflon tape around it before shoving it into the bucket? I'm using 5 gallon paint buckets (new buckets).

Thanks,
Felix

are they both leaking in the same places? Curvature of the buckets doing it?

That was my first thought, but I'm hoping there's a solution, as its only a couple uniseals that aren't sealing well.

The teflon tape would probably work but I'm not sure how it would do when you push the pipe through.

Check the uniseals, could be they had some nubs leftover from the manufacturing process along a seam :dontknow: . It's also possible that the hole saw wasn't squared up well to the face so the hole in the bucket is over sized. There's a remote chance the pipe is undersized. If you can tell were they are leaking that might help you figure it out. If they are small leaks they may go away on their own.
