At 120 feet below ground the plants never see the sun. All LED lights
The other 2 articles were

17,500 LED lights, growing lettuce with no cores? Is that guy in a clean room suit?
and

Aeroponic Mist. I think that was developed by NASA. I can buy these misters from a local factory.

These people are growing 10,000 heads a day in Japan. That's a lot of lettuce. None of them boasted tomatoes. Darn. I want a salad not rabbit food. Lettuce, tomatoes, onions, carrots and others. Nice salad.
Do any of you have a nice rounded out AP project or are most of you just growing 1 veggie?

nosliwmas: Aren't the Chinese there somewhere building a new canal? Ask them to turn around and start digging home. I did notice that they were keeping the LEDs mix or type a close secret.

3 good articles for us, Thanks.

Yeah, but it seems like a USD $50 billion boondogle. It is actually in Nicaragua, but it is close to the Costa Rica border.

As you can tell by the graffiti, it is not very popular...

Before there was the Panama Canal, folks and products from the West Coast of the US traveled to the East Coast of the US by cutting across Nicaragua into that big lake from the Pacific side, then down the river on the border of Nicaragua and Costa Rica in river boats to come out on the Caríbe side where ships took everything back up to the East Coast of the USA. However for about 100 years now the Panama Canal has been providing a nice way to cross from the Pacific to the Atlantic without Rounding the Horn. The new Panama Canal expansion is supposed to be finished this year which will surely take all the steam out of the sails of the Nica project. The general thought is that China wants to expand her influence into this region and is doing it mostly by funding and doing large scale infrastructure projects (like the new football stadium in Costa Rica) in poor countries.

In English, that graffiti says, "No to the Canal! Death to the Chinese!"

Don't worry nosliwmas, Chinese is easy to speak, You will learn quickly. lol All Central America APs will grow rice and Boney Goldfish Carp.
Talk about Rice, It is something I want to give a try. It is a water based crop in the beginning and should be easy to start up. The only problem is that it grows very tall. many farmers will raise fish in the fields while they are flooded knee deep and move them to fish ponds when drained. Sort of an upside down AP system. Eels and catfish are both common for this and I do like to eat catfish. Anyone doing AP with Cats?
D

Thanks for the fix Scotty.
