I feel this might o been covered in monya's thread but will post some photos and see what the replies are.

I have a large zuchini plant that is being affectedby what i believe might be mildew. the pictures below are how it looks but it destroys my baby zuchini before they are even close to eating size.
Does any one have a way to solve m problem?

In his experiments with zucchini plants, Bettiol found that a weekly spray of milk at a concentration of at least 10% (1 part milk to 9 parts water) significantly reduced the severity of powdery mildew infection on the plants by 90%.

I'd also cut and remove some/most infected leaves .... especially the almost dead ones....

Works like a charm Nick..... remember 1:9 mix.... more or less

nick, zuchinni are susceptible to powdery mildew, just like their cousins pumpkins and cucumbers, especially in Brisbane's summer. Humid conditions help start it and make it worse. As soon as you notice the powdery mildew starting, cut off that leaf as the spores can spread to other parts of the plant. And as rupert has pointed out, the milk spray works a treat.

my wife's dad has a veggie farm he likes to use 1 part milk to 5 part water instead of 1 to 9.
