Welcome, WC!
This thread should help with the fotos... Everyone loves fotos! :headbang:

A quick tutorial on adding images to posts

That sounds like a lot of filters! But if you like to tinker, perhaps that's not a bad thing... ;-)
You can probably get things rolling a little sooner by keeping it simple and then adding filters
later, especially if you start out with a reasonable fish load.

Good luck!

My plan was to run 4 growbeds

But the expanded clay balls in my country is super expensive..so i need to find an alternative...orr i will reduce the amount of growbeds and increase pvc pipe usage..

WC,

Great looking go at it you're having! Thanks for uploading the pics. Pictures relay good craftsmanship and thoughtful attention to detail. :thumbright:

So is the idea, 1 FT (1000L), 2 half-barrels ST (200L), and 4 half-barrels GB (400L), plus filters... roughly speaking?

Remember to test your local gravel with vinegar if limestone might be an issue in T&T. Expanded clay balls are expensive where I am as well, so I grabbed samples of the 3 local readily gravels and ruled out one very obviously as not being suitable due to my bubbling vinegar test.

What kind of fish? And how many are you planning for?
