Sounds like it's not thoroughly tested......

I have probably 15kg of fish in my tank thats about 4500-5000L with the 1.3m dia growbed, and that system is being pushed to it's limit when the growbed is full..

Lol I still quite liked it, would've been nice with gravel on the bottom of the tank, those solar powered underwater lights and some type of ornamental fish, or the more flashy natives. Though probs not 30kg worth

Well, i can tell you this from EXPERIENCE.............steve and anges system has 44 plant sites in their nft pipe, all planted and growing rapidly, nitrates are at 5ppm, but the important thing is that they appear to be static (will have to confirm this as the plants grow bigger) all that is "powered" by i think 9 silver perch prolly about 10cm big.

SO, 30kg of fish IMHO is gonna take one HELL of a lot more plant sites than 20 or 30 :shock:

Reason i asked about filtering system was did it need regualr cleaning out and hence removal of solids (by now you know i'm not fond of this)
