I decided to put boxing on the front of the roof to match the back.
I finished the front and started on the roof.

Getting closer to having the front roof done. Only two more sheets for the front roof.
It is starting to look like a greenhouse.

Getting a little closer. I still need to trim the left side and the top needs a 7-8” piece across the top. I will have to cut an angled piece 2 x 6 to go against the ridge beam to fasten the profile to.

I have started on the back vents. Once I have the top roof vents framed in I can put OSB on the roof.

I made the greenhouse 2’ bigger than my first plan so there was no gravel in front of the grow bed. There was some grass growing there.

We put down cardboard boxes then landscaping fabric.

I bought 1 ton crusher run and they boys and I put it all around the inside foundation. We put it in front of the grow bed. We did this in 1 ½ hours not too bad. The boys are off school so it worked out good.

This should help seal out the small amount of air that could come under the 4 x 6 foundation and foam insulation and hopefully stop that grass from growing.

I had to get this done before I put in the vents.

I spent the whole day working on the greenhouse. Those 10 foot OSB sheets were hard to get on the roof by myself. At least it was not windy.

This is looking really good. Next Friday we have a planning meeting in the school for a new greenhouse. Your built has given me some very good ideas.

@gnoib Thanks.

I put up the rest of the OSB. I am now installing Grace Ice and water underlayment on the roof. I am about ½ done.

When I am all done Grace Ice and water underlayment will cover all the OSB.

I finished up the Grace Ice and water underlayment on the roof. Just in time it started to rain just as I finished.

Very nice! Your build is similar to one of the 3 plans floating around in my head for my future greenhouse build. :thumbright:

I used up the last of the treated 2 x 6's and the last two 2 x 8’s. I ripped the 2 x 8 down to 2x 6 size.
I needed that small piece for the back boxing anyway.
I build box to hold the three layers of XPS insulation.

I cut mine all at one time with a circular saw. The worst noise I've ever heard in my life. Need ear protection.
