A place to discuss aquaponics

Hi everyone, I've been struggling with this for a really long time. It almost seems like a viral infection, but from my research viral infections seem to be plant specific, and this has spread from different kinds of lettuce, to green onions, to other plants. I'm really at a loss on what to do.

Could anyone help me identify this problem?

I've included pictures as links - they're very high resolution to give a good indication of what's wrong, so I'm not going to post them inline here;

This looks like spider mite damage and I may have seen a few adults in the pics but nothing I could be absolutely certain of.

Hm, will spider mites produce webs though? I haven't seen any evidence of webs anywhere?

Thanks for the tip. I've been poking around for any evidence of these guys...

Have treated things with neem oil once over the past week, plants are still unhappy it looks like, but a week might not be long enough for them to die off. Going to continue with it and see I guess.

First pic is of an aphid and the lower pic is probably a springtail. The aphids are pests that you want to get rid of.

Springtails are detritovores and you may get lots of them but they are mostly annoying. I could be wrong though and this one could be a thrip but I don't think it is.

Awesome, thanks for ID-ing that gray guy. And neem oil has been working well on the aphids as well, there were some a while ago and that was the only one I could find as of late.
