i read that lettuce need cool weather . I thought it is some wrong of the water ,what do you think

I think it's probably light too. Usually when plants stretch like that, light is the problem. There is a remote chance that it could also be bolting if conditions are wrong but it's a very young plant for that to happen. There might be a bit of an iron deficiency indicated by the light yellow leaves at the top but I think that is also more light related.

Don't quote me, but I find that all mine, in the light deprived area, had poor colour .. so just saying that deficiency MAY not be an issue..

And I am told that high temperatures will cause bolting to seed also..

That's what I was trying to say as well :thumbright: . Sometimes plants get darker in low light and sometimes they get lighter.
