Welcome Luc, the more newbies we have performing this build the better the thread will get in making fresh builds easier, I'm in a similar starting position as yourself.

Cheers

$25 for 10 pcbs. Not too bad. I only need one set so the other 9 sets will go to whoever might be interested.

I've heard really good feedback about the dfrobot ph probes. Looking forward to hearing how it performs.

Lol. That is a lot of unions, adapters, couplers, hardware to get that flow meter into your system! You couldn't make it more complicated? :)

This is a shot of how I did it.

@Chiumanfu: Put me up for one or two please. Colum and me live in the same city, so if he wants a set we could combine postage maybe? How can I organise it?

OMG chiumanfu this is great!!!! Im so glad I came on here and checked this out. This is exactly what I want to do! I had a question though; I am doing an outside grow and wont be using lights and fans....Will this same basic setup work for me even if Im not using all of the same equipment that you are? Thanks so much again for putting this up!!

Yeah of course. Let me test them and make sure there's no bugs first.

Yes, definitely. The system is pretty tailored to my setup but the code is completely open for you to modify as you like. It is easy to comment out any functions that you are not using or duplicate sensors that you want more of. I can help you out with that.

Chiumanfu,

Not sure if it's bad etiquette to ask for a PCB on my second post to the discussion? If not, please put me down for one, once the "senior" folks have had their say.

Best,

Luc

Controller PCB has been running in my greenhouse for a week now. It functions exactly as expected. Now it's time to test the power board. I'm not looking forward to re-wiring all the AC power but maybe it's an excuse to do it properly this time.

Here's a sneak peak at my latest project. 7" touch screen and Arduino Due. I'm structuring the code so that you can configure it to any system through menus rather than custom tailored to my system topology. Release date?... don't hold your breath.

That is actually pretty cool!

How tricky was the touch screen to hook up?

Hookup is easy. The code for the display is quite a bit more involved though.
