Welcome back! I've wondered how you were doing quite often. Sorry to hear things have been all over the place, life can be a hell of a ride, and not always a fun one. How are you and the little ones?

I'm venturing into the world of chickens too, you'll have to share pictures of yours! All the best with your re-start into the world of aquaponics and the rest of life's adventures!

You may be new boss, but you are definitely on the 'actually productive' list :D Hi

And Azira, we are all good :) Thanks for thinking of me :thumbleft: Here are some chicken coop and inhabitant shots...

I built-in the underside of the kids cubby house for the main coop (2.7m x 3.7m) and put in a few little pre-made coops and hutches that I procured secondhand as their nesting boxes, and they have access to the whole yard to range in for several hours every day. The floor is pavers, with deep litter on top, to make the whole coop fox/dog, rodent and snake proof. It isn't a huge coop, but it does my 6 bantam ladies very nicely. I made a 10L self-waterer (in the pic it has stainless steel nipples, I changed them out for feeder cups- because I was worried about the girls not having access to enough water in warm weather). The self-waterer means that they can't contaminate their water supply (as much) and it stayed fresher, and less-chickeny
