LOL, I am I starting a revolution here? A nation of wives and partners who come home to find their baths full of fish? Nothing would surprise me! They have to go somewhere! LOL

I intend to remove the siphon pipe between my two 400l sump tanks and use one as a temporary purge tank....too much hassle to drag in pump, filter etc...but I love the ingenuity

Tonight's dinner with KE14 and family :) 12 barra total weight 2.8 kg's. Cooked on the barbie, dusted with flour and dipped in milk and egg. Very delicious. accompanied with salad, crusty bread and followed by chocloate apricots and greek biscuits yummo! Once again, I ate too much, it sure is a luxury getting fresh fish from the bath!!!
One thing I was gonna menmtion. I have seen figures of 40 % meat recovery from silver perch. After heads off and guts out, these fish went from 2.8 to 2.3 kg's. I didn't weigh the backbone, but they couldn't have been more than 100 grams. Certainly a very good percentage of the fish is meat :) Also, very easy to handle off the bone, a few rib bones to remove, but the rest just peels off leaving the backbone behind. :D

Looks Good, Monya! Bad thing is that it takes so little time to eat them and so long to grow them.

But with some planning and extra tanks..... continuity is the key. Then you only have to wait for the first batch to grow out, then the next batch is close behind. :)
