Thanks for sharing, I have had several green water and coepod/rotifer(?) and other little critter cultures going for the last year or two since I found them hard to start when I last bred aquarium fish.
I don't have any fish breeding but the cultures have largely been hassle free with minimal maintenance I have just kept them going in case they're needed. Occasionally dividing them to try to stop the cultures crashing.
All info is good info, I'll check those out.
Mine are just 2L bottles in indirect light (for most of the day). Lightly fertilised for the algae and the critter population just does it's thing.
When the layer of dead algae and critter corpses grows too thick, I divide it into a new solution to seed it.
Surprisingly resilient population considering I don't add air, or any thing actually, after setting up the culture.
