Arghhh! I didn't know about the Minnamurra Aquaponics thing. I'm in Sydney from the 19th to the 28th of August :(

I can offer my place any day from the 15th to the 18th. The 18th is a Friday, so it might be good. But if you guys want to do it on the 25th it will need to be somewhere else :(

Sorry guys :(

What do people think? The 18th at my place? Or is someone else willing to host on the 25th?

Not fussed personally. Spew you cant come to minnamurra.

What does every one else think? works for me either way. Some of the poeple comming down (over?) for minamurra won't be in it though.

My place is mid reno's so its out.

Who else?

I'm happy to buy mine also - afterall fingerlings are very reasonably priced and readilly available (at least to those is the great state). The only attraction to breeding for me is the challenge, and I can overcome this desire in favour of other things.

I dare say that Bruce's presentation will not be about how to get these guys breeding their own fish, afterall this is his expertise and commercial business. The interest in the presentation will be different fish available to us for aqua and general interest in the whole operation Bruce has at Childers (how envious are we all about those dams - I get excited just seeing all the troughs/ponds int he breeding room picture on the site :D ). It is very good of you to do this Bruce - information for fledgling hobbies like this is often few and far between.

Maybe one day Bruce might be happy for us SEQ folk to do a field visit to his farm at Childers :D .

How about that Bruce, a farm visit... We will need to do it when you have a new batch of fingerlings (Jade Golden and Silver) so we can come back home with our shopping trolleys full.

Steve, obviously I would love it to be on the Friday of the M day, but if that's not possible thru lack of venue, then I suppose that's okay....

File comment: The anaerobic plug flow digester. Very small and not efficient - but it does the job!

Here are a few more:

File comment: The pond. You can see the duckweed and algae, but the fish are pretty indistinct.

Hey Aeldric.

Nice work :D ,

How have you found the greenhouse for the temperature control and growth of plants? Have you got any before and after feedback?

Did you put it together yourself, if so was it your design or is a kit available like this?

Interested to see how it all goes. What sort of fish (hope you haven't already said) and how many? What is your growbed medium?

Too many Questions, sorry!!
