It is very rewarding Brian. Just don't let your dog eat your 6 year old trees. :D

Working on a shade system _ summer is coming...

I plan to build bamboo balustrades and bamboo gates for access between the posts.
Hopefully dogproof, fitting with the general brief and attractive.

Concept with geolocated placement midday in October

Amazing CAD work. I'm so out of the loop on modern architectural designing, I don''t even know if this is called CAD anymore

Didn't have my glasses on, and thought it was a picture. I was wondering why he used structural aluminum for the floor joists.lol I can't find really large bamboo here. About 3", sometimes 4". I think the Giant Timber gets 5-6"

LOL, Thats high praise indeed! The floor joists are galvanized steel tubing (the render makes them look like Aluminium).

You know, I think should put some metre long virtual trout in the pond for good measure - see if I can trick anyone!

I visited this place today and ordered the posts:
http://www.redcloudbamboo.com.au/

Suspect they source the stock from china. They had some great living bamboo there also.

Monday I should have:
7@ 2900mm x 105mm & 7 @ 2900mm x 60mm Bamboo posts (per the render) and a 6 mtr Pole for the bamboo lintel
