ok so i know i posted alot of pics but a few back there is a pic of just a lettuce plant and it looks like it has spots that are dieing, dose anyone know what this is?

It actually looks more like splash damage. Any chance that rich fish water got on them? I take it you have checked the under-sides of the leaves for bugs? Although since you are working entirely inside in the dead of winter, and from seed, I really wouldn't expect bugs. If it's a nutrient deficiency, it's not one I've seen. Most likely nute deficiency would be iron. That would be a yellowing of the leaves with the veins remaining green, so it's not that.

My call would be to pick off the damaged leaves and monitor for the next week to see if additional damage occurs.

File comment: u can't see the top of the tomato plant on the right side but its getting big kinda lanky though i think cuse of lack of light, the little foil tray is my seedling bank its just got perlite and different seeds i spray it with tank water every day or so

File comment: the bottom tube is now the bio filter i just took out all the rocks from the other one and filled this, i also seperated the cups so there is more distance, still needs to be painted but enough for today

looks really nice...what size pipe are you using and what size net pots? What is your spacing between pots?

Is your system continuous run or on a timer? How do you handle the return?

4" pvc, 3" cups, 10" between plants, runs constantly the water just drains back into the tank
