Saw them two nights in a row in Stockholm back in 91 I think it was. Axl was a big bitch as always though.. Had to wait hours for his ads to get on stage.. Only good thing was all women flashing their boobs for the cameras and shown on huge center monitor.. I was 16 back then.. Eyes wide open :D

One of the few bands that I enjoy that I didn't see live.
I saw Slash guest playing with Sammy Hager at a Rock Super Bowl.

Saw Seger, Zeppelin, Aerosmith, The Stones, Rainbow, Cheap Trick, Rush, Eddie Money, Skynyrd(with Ronnie),Santana, Elton John. Billy Joel, Ted Nugent, Deep Purple, 38 Special, Molly Hatchet, Charlie Daniels, Heart, The Who, REO Speedwagon, Van Halen, Stevie Ray, Jeff Beck, and probably a few dozen more.

Missed The Boss, ZZ Top, and Jethro Tull. I'm glad that when I was in high school, we could see a concert for under $20.00. I always wanted to see the Eagles, and had a chance on their Hell freezes Over tour. The cheap tickets were $125.00 a pop. Good seats were $250 and up. I refused to pay that much money. My son goes to concerts now that cost hundreds of dollars. he has to budget money a few months ahead to go to see a few bands. Crazy

Update- Still waiting on cycling with new K!. PH coming out of mbbr did finally drop after no change for a few days.
The temps were down in the low 80's after all the rain, cloudy days. I thought I try a little experiment with the exhaust fan.
I turned it off yesterday and today. The temp inside the Fh is normally around 88-89 for a high, with the fan on. Last few days, it reached the mid 90's, and the water temp wont from 81 on Monday to 86 today. 88 in aquarium, which are higher up.

So I can control the water temps pretty easily with the fan. Tomorrow, the fan will go on auto as usually, and I'll see what the water does. Trying to keep around 85.

Man I wish I could have seen some of those bands. I did see a few of them Van Halen, Aerosmith. Wish I could have seen Stevie Ray, Skynyrd and Zeppelin. But I was too young at that time ;)

Skynyrd was my all time favorite. Zeppelin was in a thundersorm, they played 2 somgs, then had to quit. Fans went nuts, the cops came in and started cracking people's heads. That was '79, and you didn't mess with Tampa's finest.lol

I saw Aerosmith last night in Grand Rapids....Awesome! Every single person was on their feet from the first beat of the drums until the house lights came back up

I haven't seen Aerosmith since get a grip tour. But they still rock no doubt. Saw Lynyrd in Sweden but that was not too long ago.. Terrible actually with this newer lineup can imagine it being quite different with original lineup.

Here I'll date my self; Had back stage passes to the Doors, the show before Morrison let one of the groupies polish his knob on stage while singing or slurring he was drunk as a sailor. Barely made it on stage. He got a ticket for indecent exposure or public nudity or some crap. He was doing the same thing when I saw him. All the chicks love the Doors, even after I tell them what I saw, go figure.

Gone Fishin. Be back 8/15.

Nitrites are sloooowwllyy headed down. Will feed once daily for the next week, and then hopefully, will be able to ramp up when we get back.

Everyone stay safe and God bless.

Thanks Rhino.

I'm always amazed at how long a work week can be, and how short a vacation week can be.
Always a great time with family.

Caught a lot of fish, but no keeper walleyes. Caught a lunker small mouth bass, and some huge crappie. Add to the mix, a few nice pike, a few large mouth bass, blue gill, shell crackers, rock bass, it was a pretty good fishing week.

Going to try again in the Spring for some larger walleye.

Fish are doing pretty well. PH has dropped into the 7.3-7.4 range. Nitrite are around .5, ammonia is at zero. Going to clean the shade cloth/netting filter and see if I can ramp up the feed rates.

Fed twice yesterday and nitrites shot up to over 2...maybe around 4? The test is very hard to discern the 2-5 colors. I split one in half, and it looked to be around 2ppt. So 4 ppt would be my best estimate. It will be 3 weeks Wednesday. Just frustrating having wait this long. Can't even feed them twice a day, and I would prefer 4-5x per day.

Also, found some fish in the shade cloth filter yesterday as well. 4 total. The smallest was under an inch, the largest about 3". Not sure how the little tiny guy got there. I haven't added fish in several months. I guess they bred somewhere?

I thought of another issue as well. When I'm cleaning the shade cloth, I'm rinsing it as a remove it from IBC, then replacing it with another piece that was used the last cleaning. The netting is rinsed, set off to side, and reused. Am I better off just cleaning the shade cloth and reusing it right away? How long does it take for the bacteria to die off when they are outside the tank? I thought they died off pretty quickly anyways, But, given the surface area of my shade cloth, I may be upsetting the ecosystem by removing them?? The 1 large piece is appx 700 sq ft. With just the 2 sides, it would be over 1400 sq ft, and I have no idea the SSA of the fabric?

Anyone have any suggestions on this?
Thanks.

Hi Chris
What about cutting it in half and only changing half each time?

How often did you say you clean out the shade cloth?
