Cadaver is a good option if you're not wanting to play at a very high level. Much quicker recovery and much less pain then the other 2 options(patella or hamstring). It's never done in professional sports, but is the choice of most Dr's for weekend warriors. If I ever tear mine, that's the route I would choose.

I enjoy basketball, but never spent enough time handling the ball to be very good. Pickup games, yes, playing against highly skilled guys, not so much. I can't drive with my left hand, and that makes me too easy to defend. I can still knock down a nice 12-15' fade away though. :D

I did wrestling in high school in the 135 weight class, but didn't stick with it. It was a good work out that's for sure, but I was never any good at it. So I took up cycling and running.

did wing chun in my 20s , added BJJ and got to blue belt.
Then buying a business, marriage and 2 kids got in the way...
Went back to BJJ , dislocated my shoulder and realized that I simply could not dedicate the time to give it a decent shot.
Bought a Hobie kayak and now go kayak fishing , and do quick workouts on my home benchpress and chinup bar

I love Hobie yaks. My brother has 1. Best skinny water fishing machine invented.

Had to Google Wing Chun. Sounds interesting. Did some Ishin Ryu for a while. Like the BJJ better. Not very good at it, but it seems more practical for self defense and certainly gives you a workout. Trying to relax while people try and put you in choke holds and arm bars is hard to do! :D

Since I had to quit, my health insurance actually makes money.
Left leg broken twice, right once, left knee cap ( had to be replaced ) 14 times ribs, left arm twice, right wrist, 8 fingers, and the usual dislocations, 3 TBIs and a few legaments in knees and ankels.
I beep at the airport :D

I played football back when I was ten or so, didn't last long maybe two years an I lost interest.
I played soccer for 3 years and it went very well but then Decided I didn't want to spend my time on the weekends doing it an have had a rod in my hand since I was 3 so I stuck to fishing.
I have a hobie kiyak an go regularly also out in the boat chasing snapper, dhue ect.
I have never broken a bone an don't plan to, I have gained weight slightly but have maintained a adverage for few years now

I've been looking for a Hobie yak for a while. Great fishing machines for skinny water.

I played a season of Ice Hockey with the "Pee Wee Juniors" as a kid and was too small & light to continue any further with Ice Hockey so I speed skated for 3 or 4 years after that.

I managed to come sixth in a speed skating championship one year, I always forget to mention that there were only 6 skaters in that final :laughing3:

Motor cycle racing for me, I'm 2014 Pro twins champ! (Aprilia RVS4, technically not a twin but it's in the V configuration so it's allowed in )
Also started a business called team Cunningstunts (this the user name). Clever tricks on bikes.

I also do a little clay shooting comps which is great fun!

A lot of chair sitting and video games after the car accident back in August. Which was the same as I did before the accident just more of it.

Cricket... Got a three wicket haul again last night. Line and length, medium pace. Good breeze last night got a lot of swing. Got it hooping as they say..47 y.o ankles are a bit sore, but knees and shoulders hanging in there.

Have found that swimming is keeping me fit with out the impact of running. Went for a swim in the Manuka public pool in Canberra when I was over there last month. Old pool, but nice and out in the open. You know you have done a work out because you are gasping, and heart is pounding.... And my shoulder was not clunking like it used to.

Maybe the bowling is strengthening the muscles around my shoulder????

get one!
I take my Revo 13 inshore fishing, there is no skinny water where I am. Surf launches and returns can get a little hairy. My best catch to date but I am a novice compared to some of the kayak fishing gods that frequent this forum (mattyoga)
