And for an official announcement,

After an extremely successful inagural workshop in May, I have decided to hold another Aquaponic Engineering and Design Workshop this November! You can check out reviews from some of our awesome forum members a few pages ago and rest assured that you are going to leave with all of the tools necessary to build a successful, robust and profitable Aquaponics system. I have a few more announcements about the event that will roll out in the next couple of weeks but let me just say... If 4 days of lecture, hands on activities and one on one time with me plus a 300+ page engineering and design workbook weren't enough...I'm about to go leaps and bounds further than any training course in existence to make sure you succeed! More announcements to come!

I hit 80f and had real problems with root growth, both DWCs have 30lpm air pumped in but still i feel my DO levels are to low,iam going to try to add trickle towers to the filtration for cooling and the benefit of using free air for the Bio filtration, see if that helps. My lettuce went from sellable to dumped in the compost bin in a month....

Thanks man, I would love to make the trip sometime in the next year joblow! It comes down to the fact that I need enough interested Aussies that I can cover expenses to your beautiful country and a central location convenient for everyone interested to meet at. I'm not sure if it would be better to meet in Melbourne or Queensland or Perth for all I know. Maybe we all crash Charlie's house and camp on his lawn! :)

I've been working on some big projects that have been taking up most of my free time but ill be a bit more freed up next spring as we finish our expansion :).

What does the lettuce look like Das? Might be environmental conditions but could be variety or nutrient related (availability and requirements changes as temperatures change)

I was growing Green Oak and Butterhead, from the nursery tanks when they went into the DWCs growth was very slow, they just looked like big seedlings if that gives you a mental pic, they didnt even look like they where bolting they just stalled with very stunted pale yellow root systems, the bottom leaves developed brown necrotic spots as well, again with the Chinese celery growth was slow, the only visible evidence of anything wrong was the poor root formation. No real changes had been made to the system, only air and water temps, air touched 95f with the water at a high of 80 f water now is down to 27f.

"You take the blue pill, the story ends. You wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill, you stay in wonderland, and I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes."
―Morpheus, to Neo

The term redpill refers to a human that is aware of the true nature of the Matrix. Redpills are typically humans whose bodies and minds have been freed from the power plant by Zion hovercraft teams, but humans still connected to the Matrix can also be aware of its reality. Usually, Redpills encounter anomalies or glitches in the system, or may free themselves from physical bonds by exceeding human limitations. In either of these cases, other Redpills find them and offer them freedom.
