I'm wondering if the Maxicrop Liquid Fish 5-1-1 is ever used in an aquaponics system or if only the seaweed version should be used. Would the use of the Liquid Fish 5-1-1 be allowed in an organic certified system?

Someone answer this question. I too was wondering about this. Neptune's Harvest makes 2-4-1 Hydrolyzed Fish Fertilizer and a 2-3-1 Hydrolyzed Fish and Seaweed Fertilizer. I was wondering if the fish and or combo fertilizer could be used during fishless and after fishless cycling. If the fish species is carniverous or omniverous than it's okay right?

it can be used, but there isnt much point if you have fish.

as far as fishless cycling.... just piss in your tank.... or use goldfish, hell i used trout to cycle the first time, but either way im pretty sure the ammonia is low to nil in thos products, so no wont help, will just add a lot of nitrates.
