You can see that the film stops after it jumps. That is because he dropped the phone and ran. By the time he came back it was all over and emergency services weren't allowing any photography. :support:

This fella managed to get tree'd by the neighbour's pug dog. Personally I reckon the dog was lucky the Koala didn't decide to take it on, the dog might have learned a lesson if it had. Avoiding dogs is a good idea in general though, no doubt.
Only the third wild one I've seen, all of them within a 2km radius of each other.

We removed the threat and after gingerly climbing down, he scampered away across the yard and up a decent sized eucalypt.
