Time to bring it home.

I agree Bodgy. Been in their hands far too long! (One year is far longer than they deserve). Was hoping to see the match at the MCG, but my meeting in Melbourne is the week prior. Damn.

Been looking forward to this...

WHY?

We're used to that shield living up here, so we've grown a little attached to it.
Not long now, first game is a good start. Just another two games and it'll return to us.
Team's too old? Not quite yet.

Now that was a good game! One of the most evenly contested games I have seen in a while, with the inexperience of NSW giving QLD the edge in the end. I think the NSW team will have learnt alot from that game and QLD will need to be on their game to lock up the series.

Round two tonight.

Looking forward to sitting down after work and sipping a few frothies watching them play. Got some slow cooked beef in the fridge, going to make some pies for dinner in front of the box.

Had the chance to be in Melbourne for the match (and a work meeting on Thursday am), but with the wife and Number 2 child heading to England for two weeks, thought I had better stay home. I get to do the meeting by phone instead, and only lose 5 hours instead of 2 days if I few east.

They've got a pretty alright team this year so it should be interesting.
Also loving that a Melbourne game is a defacto home game for the Maroons.
Especially since they bought one of ours last year.

Gotta win two though.
