I wouldn't repost man, just leave it as it is. It looks like you are getting off to a fine start. When you said brita, I pictured one of those small handheld pitchers. While I am still quite new at the aquaponics game, I would still say that you've got something different and cool there. Keep it up.

It was sunny when i took these sorry for the glare, i put five fathead minnows in today, and a small dragon statue.

Just an update, my nitrates are at 20ppm, nitrites at 0, and my fish are all alive, the lettuce sprouted, so as soon as it's growing better I should be pulling out the wheat grass and feeding it to some guinea pigs.

Just an update for those curious, I dismantled this system as my mother was mad haha, and I'm currently working on making a bigger (but still small by your standards) system.
