A place to discuss aquaponics

I often travel for work and would like to install a remote monitoring and feeding system. Ideally I would like to. Check my pH and water temperature, and watch the fish on a webcam while I feed them.

What would be the most cost effective way to achieve this? I was think along the lines of a standalone pH and temperature monitor, with a webcam positioned in such way that both the monitor screen and the fish can be seen, and then a fish feeder that can be triggered via the Web.

Android apps such as IP Webcam and GlueMotor makes me think that this can be achieved by using my old Galaxy S3.

Your thoughts?

Look into a Digital Aquatics Reef Keeper Model.
I've been using them for year in aquarium and it allows me to do many things while monitoring PH, DO, Temp, Time the lights, and automate feeders any time when you plug it to an internet connection. Units start a $100 and of course go up eBay has lots of used ones going cheaper. Any questions hit me up, I'l follow

Thanks for this. I see the reefkeeper is intended for saltwater applications. Is this right?

It is but the sensors read fresh water things as well. PH , Temp, etc
