Swed I believe the smaller ones are Hybrid 61.. the bigger ones are Heatmaster.. lol funny u talked about the growth.. I have neglected my system for about 3 months now.. no water testing no ph control I don't even know if I have ammonia spikes or nitrite spikes.. the water looks clean so I suspected everything is ok.. and fishes are alive.. but I'm going to start back the experiments real soon.. im focus on my DWC bed which I haven't put online as yet.. sadly.. im too lazy lol.

:laughing3: Not very scientific.
But it is nice to see you have that much faith in your system.

We often preach patience, perhaps we should remember the virtue of laziness. It is a lot like patience, but with less worries. My system is giving me an abundance of chard, tomatos growing better than ever, and I am hardly doing a thing with it.

That is the beauty with a full established system. It gets easier.

ok did some water analysis.. seems that I had nothing to worry about after all.
amm 0ppm
nitrite 0ppm
nitrates 160ppm+
ph 6.4
conductivity 600

Lol Ron I totally agree with you.. laziness is like indirect patience.. all the best traits of patience but without the work.. lol love being lazy.. but im going to switch back to fiddling with my system.. finally put my DWC ONLINE.. got to by the foam though

Yes it does because thats the DWC bed. and thats new filter media. now converted that system today to mirror my media beds... so let the biofilm growth BEGIN!! as soon as I prove this system I'll make a step by step instructions to these techniques I developed.. stay tuned
