Was a good day and thanks to everyone who turned up and for those that came a bit later which made life much easier than everyone turning up at the same time. Had a record number of customers for one of these days and over 1000 trout and perch went off to new homes.

It was a great day. Weather was perfect and every one was keen to get their babies settled into new tanks.

A big thank you all from the CEO, Cheidy. She got so many pats and cuddles, which she expects from everyone now, she slept like a log when she got home. Sweet dreams.

Can't believe you didnt see the lollies on the counter(usual spot), Mattyoga.

And as for the pen thief, there are still fifty billion of your own pens in the office,EB. Shall i send them to you!! :bootyshake:

20 trout successfully transported the 4 hour drive back to Geraldton.

Thanks Troutman & all involved in organising the day.

The fish are a bit hesitant to come up to the surface to feed so I retrieved the pellets after a few minutes. Then squeezed the water from them to make them sink, then through them back in a few at a time & the trout ate them close to the bottom at first then they slowly started to take the pellets closer to the surface. When this happened two trout started to attack each other.

Both of these trout were getting marks on their skin from biting each other.
Is this normal behaviour for Trout or is it something to worry about ? :dontknow:

Definitely not normal behavior, ive never seen it before. Hopefully they stop or no doubt they will end up killing each other.
