Our system will be about 2000 Gallons roughly 7600 liters. Two fishtanks each 800 gallons, its a NFT on a A-Frame which will probable hold 5 pipes on each side and will be about 12 feet long. It will go FT>RFF's>GB>BF>NFT. The Fishtanks are basically pools about 8 feet in diameter and 2 and a half feet tall, they are commercial aquaculture tanks that came with a UV filter a while back. There will be 3 RFF's for each of the fish tanks just common 55 Gallon Blue Barrels. Next it will go to a Grow Bed not sure about the grow bed though was thinking a rectangular custom made growbed about 6x4 and have 24 ft3 and just a constant flow, and if thats to expensive then we have a supply of about 4 IBCs we can cut in half and use. The media would probably be 3/4 gravel but if we can find some cheap Lava Rock that would be better but i heard its extremely difficult to clean :dontknow: . The A-Frame is pretty simple just 3 inch pipes with 2 inch holes for lettuce. The Bio Filter will just be a IBC completely full of plastic hair curlers they have a good amount of surface area and are pretty cheap. The A-Frame is practically the same as the video below but we will have a bit more water in the pipes and wont be using those small valves. the water will then go to a sump then back into the fishtank. Im hoping i can get its mostly gravity fed besides the sump to the fishtank. If you have any questions don hesitate to ask. We will have 160 Tilapia this year.

Issues:
- GB Media? How much of it do i need is 24 f3 really enough?
- is it possible i could do this gravity fed besides the sump?

Fishtank and RFF's
There will be two of these

How much media, is better related to the number of fish..
Check out the useful information thread for media Vs Fish count... 30L per fish is the going rate, I think..
