Hey guys and gals, just want to introduce myself. My name as you may have guessed is Luke. I come from a marine science background but have recently bought a farm and I am about to start a medium scale aquaponics setup as part of a self-sustainable farming practice incorporated within a wellness retreat. We are based in Tulbagh in the western cape of South Africa. I will run a six pond system with both nutrient film and medium beds using a constant flood flow setup. I will initially stock only tilapia but depending on how it goes will be looking to try trout during the winter months. I look forward to joining in and learning more.
