Aren't there some sticky traps that can be used for white fly. Have you googled Jim?

Have the same problem Jim, from what I have read it said to remove the plant, or use yellow sticky traps. Have done neither yet just still killing as many as I can manually. Have thought to use a worm tea as a spray to see if that would work?
So in essence I have no frigging Idea other then squishing and stomping the buggars.

Jim there are sticky yellow traps available like VB says.

Mon... yes and no... are a "type" of aphid... Jim try a garlic/neem oil spray...

Try this link for info and advise on Whitefly

Here's a link about Pest Repellent Plants

Marigolds seem to be of great use for natural pest control

Hi all been missing for a while, you know work and building, and killing bugs.food & fish sent this adress bugsforbugs.com.au they have the sticky traps i have been looking for. Anyway back to fish and veg every thing is good silvers and yabbys are growing.
Cleaned out brothers dam with the witebate net and got about 200 redies.
put most of them in a tank about 800 litres of water and they all karked it in a week very high amonia levels.the pic shows the ones that are left,i am testing every day and doing partial water changes but the amonia level still creeps up but i dosent seem to worry them.

Despite being noxious ferals they are rather a pretty fish me thinks.

I found one up the back today with its head bitten off

Nice little plump thing I think it would have been about 1/2lb. Neighbours dam where it came from (none of our dams have them thankfully) is getting extremely low. Would love to have a net to put through there and get some free fish.

I wonder how much clove oil it would take to get them to float so I could go around and pick them up?

Hmmmm, not a bad eating fish, but fisheries victoria would pretty much crucify you if you stocked them into a dam

Jim, do you know what the temperature tolerance is for them?

You could probably make a plea bargin if you could dob someone in who had translocated mosquito fish but I wouldn't count on it. I'm pretty sure they would go nuts for just having them in an aquarium.

Steve i think its about the same as rainbows but the larger ones are happy at 25 deg in the ap tank with the silvers. The aquariem is constant at 18 deg.Jim.
