What a beautiful place you have created Iceman. Looking forward to seeing the bench and stonework completed. :flower:

Iceman, One of the best uses of space I've seen. Very neat and attractive system. You should consider selling systems like these. Custom made to fit the owner's area, complete with seating. Nice work. I've always been more about substance then style when it comes to AP, but my next system is going to combine a bit of both.

thanks coach, i had a very small unused footprint to utilise and i'm pretty happy with what we have achieved. We design and build custom systems as well as basic kits. I like to show people what they can do if they think outside the box a little

1 step ahead of me Ice. Is that your main/only business. I had thought about something like that here. We just don't have any good sources for premade plastic GB's that aren't too expensive.

thanks mate, i have seen the positive effect that planting white pansies have on the cabbage moth impact. Recently i watched a cabbage moth flutter in, circle two flowering white pansies and take off without landing and dropping eggs... it was amazing!!

..
I do like the whole idea..
I was thinking to incline the grow-wall, so the lower baskets get more sun.. (also using those systems)
We find the lower baskets don't do as well as the upper ones (all west facing)

Got some left over FG sheets to line the back to direct all overflows to the base..

I'm not too into the furniture integration as we would not use that area for RnR .. but we do like the concept..

Btw... did you just allow the buckets to cascade the flow from top to bottom or feed each bucket via the inbuilt irrigation..

I lost interest in single drippers for each bucket as they were hard to set up and seemed to continually change, leaving some buckets deficient.. I want to redo, using clay balls and cascading top to bottom
..
.

The buckets are plumbed at the top and they cascade down to the bottom one (there is internal plumbing incorporated into each of the buckets) and then i collect it and return to the sump tank

Progress has been restricted by time but here is an update.

after an afternoon of cutting and staining and nailing it was coming together... but that was after we changed the design and that decision cost us a few hours of tweaking to ensure it all came together properly... its a decision i am glad we made as it looks much better than it would have.
