Next step is set up the auto syphons and lines and taps as well as painting the covers.

Run into a small snag the red stain used in the timber is "bleeding" out at the joints after I've painted it.

The water is all stained so I'll have to pump the fish tank out and apply some more paint to the covers to try and stop the stain "bleeding" out.

The fish tank has also settled a little unevenly, so it'll need to adjustment to the crusher dust base area.

Slow progress at present, I was ready to set up the taps and auto siphons. That's on hold until the staining is sorted out at least.

I finally got a chance to get some expanded clay down in Brisbane and have got the system cycling.

It is in full sun for most of the day and the plants are suffering, at least i hope it's plants burning because everything seems to be working correctly.

Can someone please confirm this is just the seedlings getting burnt?

It appears to be to me, unless I'm missing something in how I've set it up.
