I have a major phobia of snakes, and I was flicking through your pics without reading because it's so easy on the phone, I usually do that and then go back through to read. Well... Didn't the girls in the Chinese takeaway have a laugh as I squealed and threw my phone!
P.s. I love your greenhouse!

Wow, that place is huge!

Nicely done, plenty of room to expand.

Kat, don't worry about the snake, they are only worrying when they have an attached head.

Well that was a Copper Head. Poison variety. I don't like them either. Too many around when you get to see them.

With you test looking like that you should check the back of the leaves to see if you got bug problems. Where I live I have way too much iron in the water and it does things like that some of the time but it mostly comes from bugs. Some are very small.

Also, check for powdery mildew. Potassium bicarbonate helps with that.

Have a look at this for deficiency symtoms.

Guide to Symptoms of Plant Nutrient Deficiencies; May 1999

Edges of leaves crisping could be potassium deficiency. Not sure about the white necrotic spots.

thanks all we are dealing with some aphids right now ant believe it or not ants.... we added some maxi crop for the potassium and some lime for calcium and the plants are looking better ....in fact we have a zucchini that has started putting on fruit overnight.we have been fortunate enough to use only rain water in our system in fact we have 750 gal/ 3000 liters of water on standby. looking at installing a Radial flow filter... and of course I want it cheap...i mean cost effective...lol but i will look for the powdery mildew and get back to you all. thanks again
