I never found another good 12v pump :( , so for now I have switched over to 110v pumps to run with the circulation and the solar heat system , my water flow rate is much much slower with the 110v pumps so I am thinking to go to 30min on/30min off. Is there a cheap 110v timer that will do 24 cycles per day or do I need two like I did for 12v?

recommendations an links welcomed :D

This might work, it's designed for outside and I've run mine through the Winter for cycling a stock tank heater. The manual on mine wasn't the best though but it should handle the cycles you're talking about - http://www.walmart.com/ip/Woods-50012-Woods-2-Outlet-Outdoor-Mechanical-Heavy-Duty-24-Hour-Timer-Black-50012/21682996

You'll notice the cords extremely short, I mounted mine on the wall right next to the electrical outlet.

Glad to help, hope they've got them although it looks like it's online. There are probably other options for this, I actually found mine at a local store but it was more expensive.
