Just a small shout out and thank you to Icemandude for his workshop on the weekend.

The talk was both informative and interesting as we all got to see a working system on site and a great talk on aquaponics in the present time.

I highly recommend signing up (next time) if you are in the process of building or even thinking of building a system as there is nothing like seeing it all in action to get you motivated.

Can't wait to see the current system develop and your plans for future systems.

Great for the kids as well, as my 8YO son had an absolute ball.

Thanks again.

Thanks for the feedback mate, it was great to meet you.

My boys had a great time running around with Fred, Riley (my youngest - 7yo) was excited that he made a new friend... Gotta love the innocence of kids!!

Good to see you spreading the love Iceman. Did you have a few turn up? And do you think they will take on the addiction? I hope you gave BYAP and Cheidy a plug :)

always spreading the love Charlie!!

we had 25 book in and a couple of extras too, i think a few have been bitten by the bug... time will tell!

of course i mentioned this awesome forum... its one of the greatest sources of real world experience and information.

I have another two workshops in May, one is hosted by my local council and will be advertised in the local papers etc so expect a pretty good turn out (room capacity is 80) and the other is at my place with a local sustainable living group

Keep me informed IceMan. I would be interested in seeing the setup you have at home, and Fred would love to see the kids' systems. He was talking about them all the way home.

Freddie was excited to see that kids can have their own AP system.

You should see if you can run one that focuses on the kids (because you have so much spare time on your hands) :D

I wish that I could have been there to see your workshop. I have been stuck in my garden for the past few weeks. Been planting a few tomatoes and some potatoes as well. I have been searching for some new ideas to make my garden more attractive. :wave1:
